Saving Electricity
By saving electricity, you’re not only helping yourself, you’re also helping the environment. This is one of those happy occasions where the green thing to do is also the smart thing to do.
However, both for the environment and for your wallet, it’s important to make sure that the ways in which you save electricity are really the most economical.
A clear example of this problem is seen with water use: a toilet that uses less water is only economical if you don’t need to flush it multiple times to get the job done.
Likewise, if you need to use more of a product or use it for longer because it is energy efficient, it is probably not saving you money in the long run and it would be best to try a different strategy.
