You may add a drop or two of lemon juice as a preservative in a fruit/yogurt puree without ill effects.
Grapes
Since grapes present a choking hazard you will not want to serve them until at least age 10 months. They should be pureed or minced so baby can safely enjoy them. Grapes imported from Latin and South America and other Countries are likely sprayed with pesticides. Feed baby only organic grapes.

Steam, mash or puree. Don't worry if you find your baby turning a bit orange! Parents who feed a lot of foods with Beta Carotene can expect the wee one to have her skin turn orange to varying degrees.
My first daughter did exactly that and I will never forget how surprised, as inexperienced new parents we were, as we put two and two together.
Carotenemia not harmful to baby, and is not the same as Vitamin A overdose by taking high doses of vitamin A.
The vitamin A in pumpkin is proportionate to how much baby could possibly eat, so he cannot overdose on the vitamin by eating pumpkin, sweet potatoes, winter squash or carrots.
