Simple Living on the Road to Becoming Debt Free

Many of us are very frustrated at the spending that is not in our personal control, robbing us of being able to feed our families well, pay our monthly bills, stay employed and pay our mortgages.

Being great Americans, we are often go-getters and want to take back that control, so we decide it is best to practice frugal living by limiting our families spending and consumption habits. Alright, so even if we did not decide, it was decided for us.

We search for solutions. We decide we should rightly be Home Canning and taking care of our other survival needs so no one can take our food off the table, our jobs off the map and our houses off the block. If we still have one, that is.

We take action. We find we can Grow a Vegetable Garden and we can put up a whole years of the best tasting homemade canned goods imaginable. We notice the money still in our wallet from not entering a store and needing to fill a cart for $600.00 that month. We begin to feel empowered and a little better again.

We can Raise Chickens for meat and eggs (and fun!).

I now joyfully practice frugal living, it is fun and rewarding knowing you can take care of your family regardless of outside influences.

I pay close attention to money saving techniques and ways to increase our family security, and I hope you will join me!

After watching millions of people lose their homes and jobs across the Country, I now believe anything can happen to us and we very well may each be on our own for a wide variety of reasons.

The art of frugal living may be the one thing that feeds our families and sustains us in turbulent times.

As Americans in an uncertain world, we could soon be in trouble, and many of us are not yet keenly aware of what could happen to us if we suddenly find our liberty compromised, our food sources becoming scarce and our ability to heat our homes and remain employed coming to an end.

This site is dedicated to everyone who needs practical guidance and a friend along the way to a self sufficient lifestyle. One that cannot be taken away like your 401k.

At a time when good people are losing their jobs, their homes, their savings, their investments and their security, now more than ever we need to pull up the bootstraps, fully embrace self sufficiency, and make sure we are never vulnerable again to market forces, to spending that is not in our control, and to those who would steal from us.

Debt Free Means Truly Free

Becoming debt free through frugal living is certainly possible and we will cheerfully address the steps to take you and your family there.

The reasons for all the collective financial misery are painful and deep, but you get enough of that in the news.

What I want to offer you is hope and control, which makes us happy, safe and satisfied, so let's embrace this as our time to show the world what we're made of!

Self Sufficiency

There are steps we can take to control our future by becoming self-sufficient, and the faster the better.

I am writing this website to give back to you and others like you, to help you in your new challenge to feed your families, obtain the professional services you may no longer be able to afford, and to teach and befriend you in the art of frugal living.

We can help each other in every possible way, and we will learn how true happiness comes from the comfort and practicality that comes from loving thy neighbor as yourself. Build community with your neighbors, befriend them, help them, and they will return the favors.

You will gain the strength that comes by knowing, down deep, that you are capable of taking care of yourself and your family under the most trying of circumstances.

So let us not be afraid, but rather warmed to our task, and rewarding it will be!
